They exceed the highest standards of the demanding EU environmental demands. A retractable insect screen, and the unique security/environmental roller shutter concealed inside the window casement can be raised or lowered for unsurpassed environmental control of the outside elements. The roller shudders act as a additional dead air space (6-7 inches) for higher R-values, full control of ventilation, outside lighting, and complete security from unwanted entry. The window hardware and ease of operation allow multiple styles of opening, while over-center locking mechanisms run the length of all doors and window, acting exactly like a bank vault locking the window and frame into the entire wall structure for security. My dream house, an Italian Veneto Region Farm House was made possible using 2F Italian Windows and Doors. I visited the 2F factory, have met all 3 generations of the 2F family operation, and I would accept nothing less in this critical part of home construction. Natural wood beauty designed to last a lifetime! It’s the Italian way.”
